Sister Alex and Brother Oleyemi became very close to me in the space of a short few months. When I had no home, they fed and kept me. Sister worked tirelessly to help me pack and move into a new place. We had such an easy but intense fellowship and their fire and testimony for the Lord was a longing fulfilled to have such believers brought into my life. My dear Brother was unique . A child of God, larger than life , cheerful in spirit, strong in his faith and above all he loved the Lord Jesus and served Him to the end. Having endured so very much, he still managed to greet me every time in his booming joyful way, “ Hello Sister Sarah, Praise God, How are you? “Never once were his bodily infirmities a hindrance to his service for the Lord. We spoke many hours on of the things of the Lord. He was always cheerful, intelligent, accomplished, courageous, gracious, dignified and full of God’s Word. Every day our friendship grew and I would receive a text with a passage of God’s Word, KJV, sometimes so apt it was surely a direct message from the Lord. This simple ministry in itself had so much impact. We talked about law and politics and the Church and the demise of morality in the End Times. His world view was a heavenly one. He did not compromise living faith for doctrine or dogma, his understanding of spiritual truths overrode religiosity and his desire to know the Lord and His will underpinned his walk with Him. His leadership and direction was exemplary. He was my brother, my friend, my counsel, and my family in Christ. I know he has seen the face of the Lord Jesus. That alone is consolation for this great loss . And to my dear, dear sister, may some comfort come from knowing that you are borne up to Him on the prayers of the saints worldwide. “He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds- “Psalm 147:3. My dear sister may the comfort of the Lord be very close to you, may He be your everything, your all in all during this very difficult time. And whilst we cannot understand His ways, we know that , the “thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ .1 Corinthians 15:55-57 Surely, surely, we will meet again in the presence of Him who is our Eternal Life. With my love and prayers for sister and family from me and my family and the family in Christ.
